We are all searching for the fountain of youth. We want to have high energy levels, healthy bodies, sharp minds and prevent issues down the road. Unfortunately, Indiana Jones was wrong in thinking that there was a true fountain of youth. However, there are ways to keep you and your family happy and healthy as you go through life. Here are the foundations of health that we live by at Sota Chiropractic.

  1. Spend time outdoors: Our bodies love being exposed to sunlight, healthy bacteria, and nature. It helps our microbiome thrive while improving mental health.

  2. Take time to rest: Rest is productive. Our bodies need sleep to recover, heal and function at 100%. We aren’t meant to go at the pace of modern society 24/7. Relaxation = less stress = better health.

  3. Move every day: Our bodies are designed to move. Even the smallest changes, like taking regular breaks from your desk to stretch or going for a walk can make a huge difference.

  4. Fill your days with joy: Research shows that joyful people have a lower chance of having a heart attack, healthier blood pressure, lower cholesterol, and decreased stress levels. They are also more likely to exercise, eat healthy foods, sleep better and avoid smoking.

  5. Eat healthy foods: Do your best to eat nutrient-dense, clean foods- but don’t stress trying to be perfect here.

  6. Get adjusted: Chiropractic care is an effective, safe, and natural way to promote health and wellness for you and your family.
